Let us introduce ourselves
My wife and I started the "own practice" project in summer 2016. Even during the concept development phase, it was important to us to secure the entire spectrum of modern dentistry under one roof. Currently, our surgical share is 40%. This is another reason why instrument reprocessing and hygiene are at the heart of our practice.
Process optimization with the MELAG system
All members of our team have additional qualifications in the reprocessing of medical devices. However, we have high expectations not only of our practice team but also of the technology. We were already convinced of the reliability of a MELAG sterilizer in our training practices. In addition, a coordinated system was to be used in our reprocessing room. With the MELAtherm, MELAseal 200 and the Vacuklav 40 B+, MELAG offers a suitable solution for the dental practice. The MELAtherm ensures efficient cleaning and disinfection of our instruments. Especially on days with up to 60 patients, the automated reprocessing contributes to a significant reduction in workload. In the future, we plan to expand our four treatment rooms to six. Thanks to the
customizable basket loading of the MELAtherm and the high loading capacity of the Vacuklav 40 B+, the expansion strategy of my practice will also be secured in the future. The high degree of innovation of the MELAG appliances offers us even more convenience: the active drying of the
MELAtherm ensures gentle reprocessing of all instruments. Thanks to the MELAtherm's integrated process media holder, the unit can be integrated into the base cabinet to save space. In addition, all MELAG devices have documentation interfaces to ensure standardized log storage on the PC.
Our conclusion
Our motto "no compromises in instrument reprocessing" was successfully realized by our responsible depot. The entire process of cleaning, disinfection, packaging and sterilization is very efficient and time-saving thanks to the coordinated system. We are delighted with the MELAG solution.
