Dr. Roshanghias, in the establishment of his oral surgical practice in Hamburg-Rahlstedt, has set the goal of working with the most advanced technology and operating a fully digital practice. In terms of hygiene and infection control, Dr. Roshanghias and his team trust in MELAG's system solution.
How did we achieve process optimization for instrument processing?
Optimized workflows ensure increased safety, improved efficiency, more time for patients, and greater cost savings. The individual devices of the system solution are perfectly coordinated, allowing us to carry out processing cycles without any time loss and with secure processes. For the mechanical cleaning and disinfection of our surgical instruments, we utilize the cleaning and disinfection device MELAtherm 10. With MELAG's RDG, we achieve rapid instrument availability through short program run times. The flexible use of different baskets, inserts, and sieves ensures that we achieve optimal utilization of the chamber volume with each cycle. The cleaning and drying results are convincing.
A large portion of our instruments is processed and sterilized in tray cassettes. With MELAseal 200, we also accomplish the packaging process of individual instruments quickly and securely. Subsequently, we sterilize the instruments in the Vacuklav 40 B+ Evolution autoclave. The premium-class Evolution autoclave features additional functions such as a sleep mode button for energy-saving and intelligent drying. The Drytelligence process ensures optimal drying results with minimal energy consumption. The drying time is significantly reduced, providing long-term protection for our instruments. With MELAG's system solution, which adheres to the highest technological standards, we achieve efficient, cost-effective, and, above all, safe workflows.
What additional benefits does the system solution bring to our patients and the team?
Our staff particularly appreciate the quick cycle times of the devices and the improved protection against infections through mechanical processing with MELAtherm. Manual instrument processing always carries a higher risk of needlestick injuries. We are able to easily and reliably comply with all legal regulations, including the comprehensive documentation of the entire processing process, including instrument traceability back to the patient. A hygiene cycle greatly optimized through perfectly coordinated products plays a significant role in achieving our goal of an efficient and advanced practice, providing our patients with the best and safest treatment.
