75 Years of MELAG – and a Look Ahead: What Does the Future of Instrument Reprocessing Look Like? This question was the focus of MELAG’s anniversary weekend in Berlin. More than 1,000 partners, customers, and practice teams from 55 countries gathered to celebrate two special milestones: 75 years of MELAG and the world premiere of the new MELAcare reprocessing and care unit.
On Saturday evening, the anniversary was celebrated at Spindler & Klatt, one of Berlin’s renowned event venues. Employees, partners, and numerous guests from dental practices, clinics, and companies in the dental and medical industries raised a toast together to the 75-year history of the Berlin-based family business.
Since its founding in 1951, MELAG has stood for innovation, quality, and responsibility “Made in Germany.” What began as a young business in post-war Berlin has grown into a leading international provider in the field of dental practice hygiene and instrument reprocessing.
Among the guests were well-known practice teams such as Dr. Petra Volz’s Fotzn’spanglerei and Dr. Juliane Steidten’s Mundgesund. In addition, numerous influencers, representatives from dental and medical practices and clinics, as well as executives from leading industry companies, took the opportunity to engage in personal exchanges and networking.
The party went on until the early hours of the morning, filled with dancing and laughter. In a special atmosphere, the evening vividly demonstrated what makes MELAG unique: strong partnerships, a special team spirit, and a shared commitment to actively shaping the future of instrument reprocessing.
