Adapter for KaVo eSCALER ultrasonic

The adapter was specially developed for KaVo eSCALER ultrasonic scaler handpieces and enables their secure positioning and effective internal cleaning during machine reprocessing.

It ensures a stable connection to the injector rail and provides targeted flow through the internal channels of the handpiece.

Compatible with MELAtherm® 10 and MELAtherm® 20

The adapter can be used in both device generations and supports reproducible and validatable reprocessing:

• MELAtherm® 10: Can be used in the base basket with injector rail and central filter (item no. ME84610 / ME80440) or in the base basket with injector rail (item no. ME00197) in combination with a single filter housing (item no. ME73905).
• MELAtherm® 20:Can be used with Cleanfinity Pro (item no. ME84650) and the injector rail module (item no. ME80840), which ensures efficient flow through the handpiece.

Use in the

CareclaveIn the Careclave, the adapter can be screwed directly into the Carebox Green (order no. ME10704). This provides a stable connection for the reprocessing of KaVo eSCALER handpieces. Please refer to the compatibility overview to select the correct adapter.

Use in MELAtherm and MELAtherm Evolution

The adapter can either be integrated directly into the injector rail with Cleanfinity filter or – using a single filter housing (order no. ME73905) – also operated in injector rails without a central filter.

Targeted channel rinsing ensures thorough cleaning of the handpiece, even with regular clinical use.

Practical addition

The Flex 1 injector basket (order no. ME80740) is also recommended for flexible loading of the injector rail. This allows several tips and instruments to be prepared clearly and efficiently, while only two connections are required on the injector rail.
