Increasing hygiene requirements in the processing of medical products can involve the frequent sterilizing of instruments. The consequent increased need for high quality demineralised water is provided amply by the MELAdem 47 and at low cost. The reversal of the physical principle of osmosis is an extremely environmentally-friendly type of water processing. MELAdem 47 produces around 3-5 litres of feed water per hour, so that several MELAG steam sterilizers can be supplied at the same time.

The MELAdem 56 was developed especially for the Cliniclave 45 and Cliniclave 45 D and complies with the requirements of EN 1717 regarding the protection of drinking water. The reverse osmosis unit permits especially economical operation. The MELAdem 56 is installed in the floor unit to save space.

The mixed bed resin cartridge for the MELAdem 47 / 55 / 56. The mixed-bed resin cartridge should be stored in a temperature of 2-20°C.

Pressure increase pump allows the connection of a MELAdem 47 to Careclave or Vacuclave 550 and another autoclave at a static water pressure in practice of less than 3 bar relative.

The water branch is required to connect a MELAdem 40 to the Euroklav or Vacuklav or for the MELAdem 53/53 C to connect a steam sterilizer to MELAtherm.

Water manifold for connecting several appliances to the MELAdem 53 / MELAdem 53 C: The new water manifold offers a total of 6 connections, 4x for 6/4 mm hoses (e.g. for autoclaves) and 2x ¾" connections (e.g. for thermal disinfectors).

The water stop valve offers reliable protection against water damage and is a recommended addition for all installations of autoclaves and washer-disinfectors connected to the water network. In the event of a leak, the valve automatically shuts off the water supply and simultaneously warns with an acoustic signal to immediately indicate problems and minimize potential damage.
